WEB-2000 made possible by WebRing. |
This Web Ring joins home pages of Native Americans & Canadians, organizations for Native Americans & Canadian and other indigenous peoples.
If you are a Native American, Canadian First Nations, or have a site for an Aboriginal Organization or have a site for other indigenous peoples, you would qualify for inclusion in this ring.
You may register either
If you do not choose option #1, then there must be a clear link to your "Web Ring pages". This link must either be on your "primary" page, or, if your "primary" page is a "splash" or "entry" page, then on the "second" page of your site.
These requirements are to ensure both that Web Ring travelers can easily continue linking through the sites and that other visitors can find your Web Rings.
Joining a Web Ring is very simple. In general, the process is the same for every Web Ring:

What if I'm already in the Queue?
If you are already in the queue, send your site information to the ringmaster at seykens@web-2000.freeservers.com. Then I can check your site and move you to the ring.
If you are already in the queue and either haven't yet put the HTML on your site click on
http://nav.webring.org/cgi-bin/navcgi?ring=web2001;edit(You'll need to know your Site ID. If you don't remember your password, it will send it to you.)
The edit page will give you your very own customized HTML.
And, if you are in the queue and can't remember your Site ID, write me. I'll help you find it.
But what if I'm already in the Ring but deleted my Web Ring Controls?
If you know your Site ID, you can log on to
http://nav.webring.org/cgi-bin/navcgi?ring=web2001;edit(You'll need to know your Site ID. If you don't remember your password, it will send it to you.)
The edit page will give you your very own customized HTML.
If you don't know your Site ID, go to
http://nav.webring.org/cgi-bin/navcgi?ring=web2001;list
That will take you to the Ring List Page. There you can enter a search term to search for your entry (words in your site name, your description, keywords you entered for your site). When you find your site, you can see your Site ID and then log in to get the HTML. And, if you've forgotten your password, the system will send that to you also.
O.K.: I'm in the Ring. I still have the old Web Ring Controls. But I want to use the new one. Now what?
Again, it is simple. Just log on to
http://nav.webring.org/cgi-bin/navcgi?ring=web2001;edit(You'll need to know your Site ID. If you don't remember your password, it will send it to you.)
The edit page will give you your very own customized HTML.
That is an interesting question. Is it "Web Ring" or "WebRing", two words or one. And is a "Ring" the same as a "Web Ring"? For the answer, see my Web Ring FAQ Page.
Thank you all for your patience by reading all this stuff.
If you have any suggestions or ideas, please let me know.
